Washed-up Bull Kelp

I always look forward photographing bull kelp whenever I encounter them washed-up on the ocean rocks during my beach walks. When photographed in infrared, due to high chlorophyll content images of kelp render in a perfect white color. As a subject matter, smooth and shiny white kelp surface contrasts very well against the dark and rugged ocean rocks. Perfect scene for black and white image of Tasmanian seascape.
