Rocky Cape NP , Tasmania

Some of the oldest rock formations in Tasmania, estimated to be up to billion years old can be found along the coastline of Rocky Cape. These rugged , sharp edged and heavily eroded rocks contain minerals that tell story of Tasmanian beginnings. History written so far in a time that is almost impossible to comprehend. In a contrast, soft lines of Cathedral Hill can be seen in a distance.
