The lost world...

Tasmania is known by its amazing natural beauty . It doesn’t take a lot to discover scenes similar to this one scattered throughout its ancient landscapes. As many times before I was confronted by the raw reality of the scene in front of me and my inability to reconcile myself with it.

Could this be the harbinger of our new world, our future … the lost world ?

I photographed myself standing next to the felled tree so I could add reference point and bring the image closer to the real perspective.
