Lake King William, Black & White

It’s amazing how much this place has changed in a space of less then two months. I was actually here, kayaking trough this very spot without any problems. The water level was above this fallen tree. Today there is barely any water flow left and I think it must have dropped at least 3-4 meters if not more. Lake King William is actually water reservoir whose waters flow into Tarraleah Power Station and are managed by Hydro Tasmania. So while wasn’t good day for kayaking all of these once submerged hazards became interesting photography subjects.
