Ross, Tasmania

Built by convict labour in the early 1800, historic village of Ross in the Midlands of the state of Tasmania is arguably the most beautiful of all colonial towns in Tasmania. Built in traditional gothic style, Ross Uniting Church is one of the great examples of well preserved sandstone architecture worth exploring while visiting town.

The Ross Bridge over Macquarie River was completed in 1836 and it is the third-oldest bridge in Australia … the highlight of any visit to Ross
